On off-days May 13th and 14th, I made an overnight trip to the coast—about two-and-a-half hours away. Plan was to visit two islands, one accessible by ferry only, the other accessible by a bridge. Île d'Yeu, located about 25km off the coast and reached by an half-hour ferry ride was first. The next day I drove over to explore Île de Noirmoutier. While some of these photos look deserted, it was actually a holiday weekend here and there were a lot of people on both islands. (Click on photos to enlarge—some captions have stats on the islands.)
