Playing photo catch-up—April 26, 27 and 28. Time is flying—the series here are still from the travel week between sessions. Along the Dordogne, Marqueyssac is a chateau with acres of gardens perched high on cliffs overlooking the river. Not too far away in the Midi Pyrénées, Rocamadour is an almost vertical medieval village. With a history going back to prehistoric times, Rocamadour is a major pilgrimage town on the Camino de Santiago (Way of Saint James). Late in the day, still in the Périgord noir—stopped by Château Fénelon for a quick visit before they closed. (Click on photos to enlarge and see captions.)
